New project: GF residence
We’re excited to unveil a new interior design project. GF residence is set within a wooded, protected estate in the British countryside and articulates a contemporary translation of the classic British style. Heritage and planning restrictions defined the exterior. Hence the modest openings, lower ceilings and a restrained material palette that root the villa in its traditional context.
Inside, the design takes a quiet, precise approach. Subtle interventions connect differtent spaces more directly, reinforce sightlines and introduce a clear vertical rhythm. Slender columns, fine joinery and bespoke details guide the eye upward, dividing larger surfaces with light and proportion. Daylight enters through measured openings, creating soft contrasts and a calm, enduring atmosphere. It recalls the character of historic British homes while remaining unmistakably contemporary.
